Services
I started working for myself over five years ago after illness forced a change of careers.
At the time I wasn't sure what I should do, but I wanted to get out and feel useful.
Friends and family convinced me that I should further my already extensive knowledge and experience of the building trades and go into the property maintenance.
This was based on their experiences of work I'd previously done for them and the lack of suitable tradesmen who were willing to do little jobs, as well as the larger more lucrative projects.

I started working in the construction trade working as a Floor & Wall tilers labourer whilst I was still in college training as an engineer in the early 1990's.
I soon became proficient at the trade myself and was taken on by the owners of the company to complete tiling jobs on my own during my college holidays.
Over the years I complemented this original trade with many additional skills that nowadays allow me to offer a pretty much one stop service for property maintenance.
But, should a job require skills I don't have, for example I don't do any Gas related work, I have an extensive network of highly skilled and reputable tradesmen that I can rely on to help me complete the job for you.

These days I very rarely have enough spare time to do regular garden maintenance in the form of grass cutting, hedge trimming or weeding, which is a shame as I do enjoy these jobs from time to time.
So most of my garden work nowadays consist of laying patios, erecting fences and helping out a friend in doing large landscaping projects when he requires extra labour for some of his larger landscaping projects.
However, because I still get asked by existing as well as new customers about the occasional grass/hedge cutting or weeding job I have a list of reliable and trustworthy people who I'm happy to use myself and so I'm happy to recommend them to you too.

Based in Blakeney Gloucestershire, my client base tends to be within the Forest of Dean area, but for larger projects taking more than a day I have been known to work further afield - obviously traveling further afield increases my costs and so these are considerations I put forward to clients at the time of estimating for the work.
Professional, realiable, competitive and courteous.
Are all words that I use when recommending Mr H after he put up new fences and laid a patio and path for me.
I've already asked him back to do several more jobs in the house as well as outside and am sure to be asking him back again.
